Class Evaluation

1.  Somethings that i like about this class is all the quotes we learn and explain. And also how we are learning to type
2. something that i didn't like is that we had to sit according to our last name. 
3. letting us choose our seat and more videos and free time.
4. the highlight for this class was the choose the right videos. 
5. i tried my best but i know i can do better. for example in the quote explanations.
6. i do my best to keep up with it i'm not gonna lie i probably only do it like twice or three times a week. 
7. yes i think i am committed to being a ctr person because it makes me feel good about myself. 

The scorpion sting

There was a boy named Patrick who was at the desert with his parents. His parents had told him to always wear shoes to protect himself against animals such as snakes and scorpions. But this morning he decided he wanted to go explore and woe flip flops. He was walking on the sand when he felt pain on his toe and it was a scorpion that had stung him. He felt the pain go up his leg all the way to his knee and he fell on the floor crying for help. His parents quickly came and picked him up and took him to a hospital.  He got a vaccine to numb his leg and stop the pain. This story showed us that we should always follow direction and not be lazy.

“Always do right”

This statement means that you always have to to do what is right no matter how hard it might seem like doing. You always have to do the right thing no matter what. It is always going to be the best thing to do. It might seem hard to do but it will feel great after. When you are facing hard times you always have to choose the right no matter what. Because you will always be looked at by your actions. For example they might know you by a certain thing you have done. You will have a great life if you choose the right it will lead to great things. For example you can choose the right by helping out your mom and she will feel great but not as good as you. You see you cant feel good if your not doing good.

“World war II”

1. Some of the countries  were  Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America.
2. World War II took place across the globe. Most of the combat action took place in Europe, East Asia, and islands in the Pacific Ocean, but others were seen in places as far away as Madagascar and the Aleutian Islands.
3. When Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939, France and Britain declared war on Germany. After conquering Poland, Germany attacked France. Nazis overran most of the rest of Europe and North Africa.
4. We can have a memorial and day for the vegetarians.

Challenges Teens Face Today

1. Bullying is now a 24/7 occurrence
2. sex is taking place earlier and earlier
3. the likelihood of coming from a broken home is very high
4. Drugs and alcohol
5. Mental disorders
6. Cyber bullying
7. Eating disorders
8. Under age sex
9. Stress
10. self-esteem/ body image  

I’m basically going through #s 3, 5, 9, and 10. I'm basically trying to avoid it and focus on other things and trying to be more positive about things.  

I honestly don't know what being a CRT person would help me with my problems.

I can let people know that they are not alone with whatever they are facing.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: They are in charge of arranging and  distributing clinical, scientific, and biomedical information for texts, journals, and electronic databases.Health science librarians are skilled at producing detailed bibliographies related to many different health fields, as well as publications and abstracts.

Salary:  The annual pay for a health science librarian is about 59,230$

Education: Medical librarians must have a Master of Library and Information Science degree from a school with an program. Applicants must already have an undergraduate degree (in any field). It is helpful, but not necessary, to have taken undergraduate courses in biology, medical sciences, medical terminology, computer science, education and/or management.

Demand or need for this profession: it is a very low demand it has only increased 2% in the past 2 years.  

Reflection: i don't think i would like this career because i don't enjoy just sitting and working around books i would much rather be in a active job doing lots of things and interacting a lot with people.

“Kindness is essence of greatness.”

This quote implies that when you do a good thing greatness will follow. This means that when every you do a good dead then something will come in extage without you asking for it. Or it can be that if your parents raised you with kindness then you can become greatness. For example if they teach you to always treat the people around you with respect then that means you will do it and achieve great things in your life. Like you can start to develop a good heart at a young age. But you shouldn't act with kindness just to get what you want but also to feel better about yourself and all those things that you like being known for. For example you can be known for many things but it all depends on the things that are known about you to title you with a good reputation.

  

‘If it is not right, do not do it, if it is not true, do not say it.”

This quote implies that you should never do something that you know is wrong. Also that you should never lie in something you say or hear about. For example you should never do something that is not right like sneaking out or cheating on a test. Not only it will be wrong but it will also make you feel wrong to. You should also never lie for example making gossip or twisting words up. You should never do something like that.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is a day is a day in which we give thanks for what we have. The first thanksgiving day was when the pilgrims invited the indians to come over to share a meal and make peace. The first time was not just one day it was actually a three day festival with eating hunting and mazes to celebrate the first successful harvest. In the first thanksgiving menu the main dish was deer because they had hunted like 5 deer for this first thanksgiving. And actually there was no turkey in the first thanksgiving dinner. Nethir pumpkin pie nor potatoes dishes we usually consume on this festive day.  And the first thanksgiving day wasn't meant to be a tradition it actually wasn't repeated until 1789 when George Washington announced the first ever actually tradition of thanksgiving.

“Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing.”

This quote means that it doesn't matter what others think you always gotta do the right thing even if it means losing. The best you can ever do is the right thing for your own good. It also means that by any circumstances you always have to do whats right for you. When you do things you always have to be aware that it's not just to benefit you but also feel good about your decisions. If you want to do what's best for you and you only then there is a chance that you won't always be doing the right thing. For example if you are playing a game and someone from the other team gets hurt then the best and right thing to do is to help them up. But, if you just do things that help you then you will take advantage of the fallen player. But that would show very little integratie. Thats why you always gotta do what's right and show people how you really are.

This quote implies that there are simple ways to do good in life. You don't need to do big things to make a change. For example you can donate a dollar or two. When you you want to have integrity you have to learn to say no. and you always have to be aware that you're not always gonna be right. When you diced something is bad don't let anyone make you think your not right.

“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

This quote means that if you are a person that chooses the right you will be of good. But, it also depends on who you hang out with because bad friends can actually lead to your failure. I don't exactly agree with this quote. You see i'm a pretty good student and i dont have the most hardworking friends. But, i don't let that affect me because when you want to do something you don't let others influence you to do things. And if they do influence you then they would influence you in a good way if they are truly your friends. For example yea they might ask you if you want to do things that aren't very good but they will respect your decision if they are true friends. For example let's say my friends asked me if i wanted to smoke and i say no, then they would respect my decision but if they try to pressure me then i shouldn't be around them. Because true friends just want the best for you and for your future they wouldn't make you do something you wouldn't want to do.

This quote implys that when you have free time the best thing to do is to is good deads. When you have an opportunity to do something right then you should do it. This would be the best for you. When you feel in between of choices, you always have to think on what is the best and right thing to  do. When you decided to do the right things then the good things will come to you. Things happen for a reason but you are the one who makes them happen. When you feel bored or don't have anything to do then go out and choose the right. For example you can go out and help someone with their market or help someone look for there lost dog. There are a lot of opportunities for you to do a good dead.  

“Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.”

This quote implys that you need to do the right thing even if everyone else is against it. You need to do what you think and feel is right and best. What everyone does shouldn't affect you. For example if the whole school was against using uniform but it's a rule then you need to follow the rule regardless. And if someone is doing something wrong for example drugs then you shouldn't give in even if everyone else has or feels like it's the best thing to do. So if you are doing something that is for the best then don't feel bad or pressured by others to do otherwise.

Troop supporter (In Afghanistan) paid 70,000$

Some  professionals work 12-hour days providing support services to American troops. It's hard, dangerous work. But the pay is high. A year on the job can change the average person's financial life.

This quote implies that the things you do affect the people look at you.  When people do things for good or bad they are always going to be known for that one thing that they did before. This can affect you in many ways for example in school or in a new job. People can do the dumbest things and then regret them when they are reminded of them. So instead of regrets you should choose the right in order to have a great life and something that they are known for. When it comes to you, you are the one that should be making the decisions because at the end of the day all the repercussions come to you. When you  decided to do something remember to always chose the right because you will probably be known by the actions you take.

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities: A person that promotes wellness through behaviors. They show people good eating habits for people and the way to deal with situations.

Salary: 47,940$ yearly

Education: they require a bachelor's degree or better  and to pass Certified Health Education Specialist exam

Demand or Need for this profession:  It has increased in a 32%

Reflection: i would not like to work as a health educator.

   

"If you so-called friends urge you to do anything you know to be wrong, you be the one to make a stand for right, even if you stand alone. Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow."

This quote implys that when you know something is bad you shouldn't do it even if everyone around you is doing it. for example lets say the people around you are inducing drugs and you think that a something you don't wanna do then don't do it. You should never feel pressured to do something you don't consider to be right. So you have to stand up for your self because no one else will.  You need to learn to choice the right even if it seems a little hard. This is because not everyone is going to be guiding you to a good future. Even if you consider the people you hang out with good friends. You never know what there true intentions are. You nerd to speak up even if you aren't heard because you need to watch out for your self because no one else will at some point. Its then when you will notice how is really down for you. People can influence the bad to you but its up to you to diced what to do in the situation. 

Dance Instructor

Duties and Responsibilities:

To be a dance instructor you need to be able to

• Engaging an appropriate relationship
• Behaving in a professional way

Education: : Become a Trained Dancer. Complete a Teacher Education Program. Obtain Certification. Consider Obtaining a Master's Degree

Demand for this particular career: the demand for this job is about 40,000

Reflection: i think i wouldnt like to be a dance instructor because i'm bad at dancing and have very little patiences.
